“The Japanese House: Architecture and Life after 1945” started on March 23 and will run through June 25, 2017 at the Barbican Centre, London.The show focuses on Japanese architecture, where the needs of a building’s residents inform its very construction. The exhibition depicts inside the Moriyama House (2005), designed in Tokyo by Ryue Nishizawa (SANAA) and inhabited by Yasuo Moriyama, an enigmatic urban hermit.
