Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum in New York is hosting an exhibition “Jeweled Splendors of the Art Deco Era: The Prince And Princess Sadruddin Aga Khan Collection,” on view through August 27, 2017.The exhibition presents an elaborate installation of more than 100 extraordinary examples of luxury cigarette and vanity cases, compacts, clocks, and other objects from the Art Deco era. The display features exquisite designs from the leading jewelry houses from Europe and America, like Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, Lacloche Frères, Boucheron, and Bulgari - created between 1910 and 1938.
