“Fast Forward: The Architecture of William F. Cody” is on view at the Architecture and Design Museum (A+D Museum), Los Angeles, California, through September 25, 2016. The exhibition examines the work of prolific architect William Francis Cody. A leading desert modern architect, he was influential during the Modern Architecture Movement and had a clientele consisting of famous names such as Walt Disney, Frank Sinatra, and Bing Crosby.This exhibition is the first truly comprehensive overview of Cody’s work based on primary archival research and simultaneously celebrates the architect’s birth centennial. Cody was known to merge luxury with technology to create something that was experimental, high-style, and modern. A master architect with a keen eye for art and interior design, he pushed the boundaries of engineering and space design.Some of William F.
