French glassmaker Lalique and luxury lighting designer Delisle have collaborated on a new lighting collection Ginkgo that combines elements of haute couture as well as bronze and iron art.The inspiration for this collection comes from a 1930s chandelier that was designed for the Hotel Intercontinental and pulled from the archives of Delisle. The title is inspired by Ginkgo Biloba, an Eastern sacred tree a symbol of longevity, hope, and prosperity. The collection includes chandeliers, ceiling lamps, wall sconces, and lamps featuring geometric forms in an Art Deco spirit. Ginkgo, which combines crystal purity and harmony of shapes, is a hallmark of rigor in design, perfect proportions and excellence in every detail.
