Describing the partnership between the Swiss-based watchmaking brand and the sporting event a press release from the company outlines how both “share the same passion and the same ambitions: to surpass themselves and innovate continually to achieve perfection. “Additionally, Mexico’s Jonathan Paredes and Alessandro De Rose of Italy two famous names in the Cliff Diving sphere have been chosen by Mido as Friends of the Brand. This partnership with the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series showcases the Ocean Star timepieces which were first released 75 years ago. Mido has also picked the Ocean Star Diver 600 to symbolize the new partnership with Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series as it showcases extreme precision, performance, and pure lines.Since its beginning in 2009, the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series has brought divers who specialized in aesthetic free-falls and dives together to highlight their expertise. Currently, the series is in its 11th season and it also resulted in a Women’s World Series in 2014.
