Fendi recently launched its new #BaguetteFriendsForever campaign, which is a series of three short films that describe the urban escapades of best friends, at the same time featuring Fendi’s iconic Baguette bag. Featuring A-list influencers, DJs, actresses, and models, the films rejoice friendship along with a love for fashion presented with a ‘quirky and fun’ tone.“Four friends, one city, one Baguette bag! The stage is set for each of the three short movies in Fendi’s new online campaign, entitled #BaguetteFriendsForever. The stories bring together a diverse cast of creative celebrities in Shanghai, Hong Kong and New York. The episodes follow inseparable friends in their sparkling daily routines as they enjoy shopping, lunch at a favorite restaurant and trying on outfits. The real protagonist, though, is the Baguette bag, the ultimate goal of their quest,” says the official release, shared on the LVMH website.As per the release, the films present a very interactive feature, how, the affection of the fans for the bag is expressed and narrated through stories. The bag is portrayed not just as an accessory but a rage that does not die easily. In fact, spreads to different parts of the world in different cities. In Shanghai, the beloved Baguette is believed to be the must accessory for any girls’ night out, on the other in Hong Kong, a bunch of friends search the city to recover the Baguette bag that Hikari Mori, a Japanese top model has lost. In the finale episode, the bag becomes the centre of attraction and an object of everyone’s desire. Leading the pack is Sarah Jessica Parker, star from the cult TV series “Sex and the City,” who exclaims, “This is not a bag, it’s a Baguette!” Her statement almost perfectly sums up the different essence of this eternal accessory, which has been embellished using mirrors, furs or embroideries and other things over the years.
