Another day, another racist—but this time, the bigot had a knife. An Oregon woman was arrested Friday after a viral video showed her attack a black family on Christmas Eve, while shouting racial slurs and brandishing a knife.  Amber Rocco, 39, of Willamina, was caught on camera as she attacked Emora Roberson, her boyfriend Keysaun Goodyear, and Roberson’s aunt in the lot of a McMinnville shopping center. Roberson’s 15-month-old daughter was also in the car. None of the victims were stabbed, thankfully What set this particular racist off? Roberson’s aunt supposedly “parked crooked” near Rocco’s truck—which Roberson says was parked in a handicapped space without credentials. In an interview with CBS affiliate KOIN, Roberson explained that while she and her aunt were in a shop, Rocco accosted Goodyear. «She just started acting crazy,» said Roberson. «She spit on him and slapped him and that's when he was like, okay, you need to back up, you took it too far.» The now-viral video begins while Roberson is trying to get into her aunt’s vehicle, and Rocco, clad in beige camo and off-brand jogging pants, already has a knife in her hand, screaming at Goodyear, who is in the backseat, about “what she’ll fucking do.”  Roberson: This bitch is really trying to stab him, just because— Rocco: No, I got self-evidence, it’s called self-defense, you stupid nigger bitch! Roberson: Who the fuck you calling a nigger? Rocco: You, motherfucker! Roberson: You’re racist as fuck! Rocco then smacks Roberson’s door, smashing her foot. Rocco keeps ranting once the doors and windows are closed, and Goodyear says he’s about to respond in kind, but Roberson cautions him that it’s not worth it, and that they’re in “a white-ass town.”  See the knife in her hand? Rocco eventually swaps the knife for her phone, but doesn’t close her driver’s door, so the family can’t leave. The video ends with one last parting threat from Rocco: Rocco: See what fucking happens, you goddamn nigger. It’s worth noting that Rocco’s passenger, who cannot be seen clearly in Roberson’s video, does nothing to rein in the maniacal bigot. McMinnon police report that they responded to a call about the situation, but both cars had already left the shopping center by the time they arrived.  Roberson promptly uploaded the video to Facebook. Be warned, the language is hateful; an edited version can be found on Twitter. x Facebook Content The video quickly went viral, and two days after the incident, McMinnon police contacted Roberson. Social media did its thing, and Rocco was eventually identified; multiple departments teamed up for her arrest Friday evening. McMinnville police said they received information from several uninvolved people about the video after it was posted on social media. [...] The Yamhill County Sheriff’s Office, Oregon State Police and Grand Ronde Tribal Police assisted the McMinnville Police Department in Rocco’s arrest Friday night. Rocco faces two counts of intimidation in the first degree, two counts of unlawful use of a weapon, which are felonies, as well as two counts of menacing and two counts of harassment, which are misdemeanors. The violent racist is being held on $55,000 bail.  In an interview with KATU, Roberson and Goodyear seemed less angry and more concerned about Rocco.  Goodyear and Roberson want her to receive a mental health evaluation and education. «I'd like to talk to her one on one. I would ask her if she would want a hug or something,» Goodyear said. «She don’t even know who I am.» [...] «At the end of the day, I want her to know what she was doing was unacceptable,» Goodyear said. «It’s not good for the next generation; we have to stop this now.» The family is relatively new to the area, and Roberson says this is the first time they’ve ever encountered this sort of violent bigotry.
