Gallery FUMI brings the best representation of materiality and craft in its “Winter Group Show,” which runs through February 2018.The gallery’s represented designers, an Italian design studio, and ammann // gallery come under one roof with an eclectic display of works to keep your imagination warm during the winter months. The exhibition features curated works by artist duo Tim Simpson and Sarah van Gameren, who work together as Glithero, British designer Max Lamb, English multi-media sculptor Rowan Mersh, and London-based designer Sam Orlando Miller. Some of the highlights include Rowan Mersh’s “Dreamcatcher V” from his widely-appreciated series of wall-mounted sculptural installations, and Max Lamb’s “Woodware Lounge Chair” from his Woodware Series (2011).Gallery FUMI continues its collaboration with ammann // gallery, featuring works by Italian design collective Studio Nucleo. For the “Winter Group Show,” Studio Nucleo brings works that capture the concept of ephemerality and fragility through reclaimed objects from the past that have been frozen within a three-dimensional body of epoxy resin.“Winter Group Show” runs through February 24, 2018 at Gallery FUMI, 2 Hay Hill, Mayfair, London, W1J 6AS.
