Limited-edition RoWin’ Atelier’s award-winning designs are part of the collection at Galerie Alexandre Guillemain, Paris.The gallery’s collection consists of seating, lighting, ceramics, objects, paintings, and sculptures, among others, with a special focus on ceramic masks. Hervé Winkler and Frederic Rochette founded architecture agency RoWin in the year 2011. The Atelier specialized in interior design and space planning, notable works being RAE’S Paris, Geneva Theatre, and Showroom MODA, among others. The duo started designing furniture to add to their projects. During PAD London 2017, RoWin’ Atelier launched its first collection of objects, edited in collaboration with Galerie Alexandre Guillemain. These pieces won them the Contemporary Design Award. The objects produced are in limited edition and made exclusively in France with a select group of craftsmen.Galerie Alexandre Guillemain was founded in 1999, and has been specializing in mid-century design and decorative arts since. It has a collection of pieces that extensively focuses on three departments, namely, mid-century modern American furniture from 1950 to 1960, French and Italian lighting from 1950 to 1970, and French ceramics from 1950 to 1960. World-renowned artists and designers whose works are part of the gallery’s collection include Gio Ponti, Pierre Paulin, Charlotte Perriand, and Vladimir Kagan, among others.
