Miami New Times reports that four immigrants and a kitchen worker at the Glades County Detention Center (GCDC) required medical attention after fainting on Nov. 23. Two of the men had to be airlifted for further care. But a report released just weeks before the November incident shows that this is far from the only harmful exposure experienced by people at GCDC.
