A collection of five new analog-digital watches GA140 series has been unveiled by Casio G-SHOCK. These watches offer the same big case design as its popular GA100/110 series and a new deep dial design inspired by the 1990s style. With a slew of LCD displays encircling the hour and minute hands, the GA140 series includes an updated dial with an analog speed indicator sub-dial at the 3 o’clock position. The overall layout is balanced out with easy-to-read arrow-shaped hands. Four of the five models feature positive LCD displays while the fifth features a reverse LCD display. The timepieces are available in a variety of colors including black (GA140-1A1), black with red and orange accents (GA140-1A4), blue (GA140-2A), red and gray (GA140-4A), and purple (GA140-6A) that complement summer style trends. Each watch in the series is also equipped with G-SHOCK technology and its features include shock resistance, 200m water resistance, world time (29tz, 48 cities + UTC), four daily alarms and one snooze alarm, and 1/1000 sec. stopwatch (100hr) among others. The GA140 models are priced at $99 and will be available for purchase from August at select G-SHOCK retailers including Macy’s, G-SHOCK SoHo Store, and gshock.com.Synonymous with toughness, CASIO’s shock-resistant G-SHOCK watch was born from developer Kikuo Ibe’s dream of “creating a watch that never breaks.” The first, now iconic G-SHOCK hit the Japanese market in 1983. Each watch has key seven elements — electric shock resistance, gravity resistance, low-temperature resistance, vibration resistance, water resistance, shock resistance, and toughness. https://www.blouinartinfo.com/ Founder: Louise Blouin Read more
