XV-XVI century: “Important and rare golden bronze Buddha Representing Akshobhya Buddha seated in dhyanasana.” On a pedestal with double rows of lotus petals, hands in bhumisparsha mudra. He is dressed in a patchwork dress, each square accented with a carved lotus flower. It is adorned with rich jewels and a foliated tiara. The serene face, the downcast eyes, the hair arranged in circular packets and surmounted by the ushnisha. Height: 43 cm; Width: 28 cm; Depth: 20 cm. Estimate: 100,000 € - 150,000 € (112,591 USD – 168,887 USD)—Lot 137: China, 18th century: “Important porcelain bottle.” A Decor of the pink family of European influence including foliage inspired by the Rococco movement (Characteristic appeared in the Chinese decorations following the presence of European missionaries at the court, the best known being the Italian Giuseppe Castiglione) containing two cartridges closing a family-pink scenery and scene of «Haiwu Tianshou», all on an apple-green background enhanced with scraffiato (Italian graffiti: scratching). Height: 18 cm. Estimate: 60,000 €- 80,000 € (67,555 USD – 90,073 USD)—Lot 136: China, 18th century: “Porcelain jug of the pink family.” This form inspired by Islamic models, appeared in China during the second half of the 14th century. The belly adorned with an auspicious decor including kingfishers and peacocks on a background of peony flowers and rocks. The palette of the decoration of our jug, in spite of unmarked, as well as the painting style free of constraints and the general quality of the form and painting guide us towards a dating of the first half of the 18th century. At the unmarked base, the unglaciated foot reveals a white and pure paste, so filtered and sieved multiple times during preparation. Above the foot and below the collar, a band of stylized bats. The neck enamelled with gold. H: 26 cm. Estimate: 30,000 € - 50,000 € (33,777 USD – 56,296 USD)—Lot 141: China, 18th century, Qianlong period: “Rare and important terrine covered with porcelain decorated in red iron and grisaille and taking the shape of a carp laid sideways.” Head and tail curved in height, the eyes mouth and fins in relief and modeled realistically on the scaly body . A small carp forming the catch of the lid. Height: 28 cm; Width: 46 cm; Depth: 30 cm. Estimate: 30,000 € - 50,000 € (33,777 USD – 56,296 USD)—Lot 332: China, 17th century: “Rhinoceros horn libation cup.” The carved relief wall of two chilong evolving among lingzhi and bamboos, two bamboo stems forming the handle, the gold lacquered interior. Height: 6.5 cm ; Width: 12.5 cm ; Depth: 8 cm; Weight: 128 g. Estimate: 30,000 € - 40,000 € (33,777 USD – 45,037 USD)—Lot 333: China, 18th century: “A rhinoceros horn libation cup.” With a multi-lobed shape evoking a blooming flower, on a small foot, the wall adorned with an archaic frieze of taotie masks in slight relief, a chilong in the round, evolving beneath the handle. Height: 6.5 cm ; Width: 12 cm; Depth: 8 cm; Weight: 112 g. Estimate: 25,000 € - 35,000 € (28,148 USD – 39,407 USD)—Lot 192: China, 19th century: “Important Porcelain sculpture Representative He Xiangu riding a deer.” The immortal richly adorned with a dress in red iron tones and gold decor, her collar made of feathers, she holds a basket of fruit on her left shoulder and a fly hunt in her right hand. The suede finely depicted with brown fur and white spots, the turned head fixing the back. He Xiangu is the only female immortal among the eight immortals. Height: 80 cm ; Width: 43 cm; Depth: 33 cm.
