Original key in bronze (dice) patina. State of use, furniture restored ten years ago on the initiative of its current owner, son of the original sponsor. Stamped EP with cold iron in a circular cartridge made of standing wood on the right upright of the body of the piece of furniture. Height: 92,5 cm - Length: 113 cm - Depth: 41 cm. Estimate: 150,000 € - 200,000 € (189,570 USD – 252,760 USD)—Lot 135: Eugene Printz (1889-1948) - Eugene Printz Collection: “Exceptional modernist cabinet made of palm and palm veneer.” The facade opens with two doors treated like accordion-style doors. The top and the receiving tray, overflowing on all sides, have a curved profile. The quadrangular body rests on a patinated brass base describing volutes enriched with half-disks at the ends. The interior, in veneer of sycamore, is provided with shelves and a box receiving drawers in English. The inner cages of brass oxide lock with sponge. Circa 1935. State of use. Height: 180 cm - Length: 133 cm - Depth: 45.5 cm. Estimate: 80,000 € - 120,000 € (101,104 USD – 151,656 USD)—Lot 115: “Francis Jourdain (1876-1958) - Uam Exhibition, A Modern Adventure, Center Pompidou, Paris, 2018 .” Exceptional modernist, asymmetric and stepped console in birch veneer from Norway and nickel-plated metal. The lower part, inverted U, based on a double L-shaped jamb of nickel-plated metal on one side and a side U-shaped part, also nickel-plated metal, on the other. The inverted L tier is supported by a flat, vertical upright of nickel-plated metal. The bottom of the entablature is crossed by a nickel-plated metal spacer. The top houses a part receiving a clear glass plate resting on four rubber original pads. Circa 1928/30. Condition and restorations of use, small chips to the glass part. Height: 107cm - Length: 162 cm - Depth: 40 cm. Estimate: 40,000 € - 60,000 € (50,552 USD – 75,828 USD)—Lot 172: Mathieu Mategot (1910-2001): “Untitled, probably the only piece, the only copy known to date, the model or our work presented at the Salon des Arts Menagers 1957.” Exceptional rectangular table in brass and black lacquered metal. The base consists of two tubes, one in brass, the other in black lacquered metal, forming an X and two vertical feet, square section, iron, also black lacquered, and joined by a spacer half height thus forming an H. The tray is entirely surrounded by brass bands screwed. The top is made of black lacquered aluminum trellis; inverted U-shaped profiles intersecting with thin strips. Height: 74.4 cm - Length: 121 cm - Width: 91 cm. Estimate: 40,000 € - 60,000 € (50,552 USD – 75,828 USD)—Lot 161: Pablo Picasso (1881-1973) & Madoura: “Black face service, complete with 13 pieces, the models created in [1948] .” Exceptional set consisting of a suite of 12 different plates (models A to L) and a large round dish. Authentic replicas edited and realized, each one hundred copies at Madoura. Tests in white earthenware earth; the decorations engobes engraved with the knife under cover red, green white on a shiny black background. A slight shine on the edge of the plate B, a shine on the back on the lip of the plate G, a small enamel wear on the edge of the plate J, a very slight enamel jump on the edge of the plate plate F. Each work marked PICASSO Edition and bears the stamps after Picasso and Madoura Full Fire on the reverse, the plates each bearing their distinctive letter (A to L), except the model F without lettering, also on the reverse. Estimate: 30,000 € - 50,000 € (37,914 USD – 63,190 USD)—Lot 77: Christian Fjerdingstad (1891-1968): “Pelagic Evocation, circa 1925/30.” Exceptional pair of candelabra with four lights. Bases, sconces and decorative motifs evoking silver hooks. Barrels with narwhal teeth. Each signed Fjerdingstad and struck Master Goldsmith's punches and guarantee twice, under the bases and on the center rings. Height: 52 cm. Gross weight: 3.040 g. Estimate: 25,000 € - 35,000 € (31,595 USD – 44,233 USD)—Lot 119: Jean Despres (1889-1980) & Etienne Cournault (1891-1948): “Untitled, circa 1930.” Exceptional silver modernist brooch. The central part, in painted ice and worked in its thickness, is set on a silver platinum comprising two lateral parts pursuing the central work by patterns in black lacquer.
