Carved mahogany, molded and fruit wood marquetry, belt and flap of the keyboard with carved decoration of pine apples and needles, tripod base with strut forming large butts in the same setting, piano flap inlaid with a stylized aquatic plant decoration, the sides animated by a rich lacustrine decoration with irises and water lilies showing a pair of swans swimming, ending at the front with a swan wounded by an arrow, pedals in gilded bronze, surmounted by a vegetable lyre, keys of the bakelite keyboard. Signature V. Prouve, dated 1903. Erard mechanism numbered88354. A banquette is added, posterior. H 100.5 x W 148 x D 225 CM • H 39 5/8 x W 58 1/4 x D 88 5/8 in.
