Estimate: 12,000 EUR –18,000 EUR (13,000 USD - 20,000 USD)— Lot. 414: “Iconostasis - double door in an orthodox church, Russian / Greek, 18th century.” Wood carved in the form of stylized leaves and flowers as well as generous rocaille ornaments three-quarter plastic flattened on the reverse, restored silver and gold setting, figural painting executed in six oval cartouche fields in oil colors, from bottom to top: the four evangelists, above the Annunciation scene, later 177/235 cm, width (closed doors) approx. 117 cm.
