Pederson & Sons, Denmark. Rosewood veneered wood, flattened and chrome-plated steel frame, with lock to top right-hand corner, 184cm wide, 92cm deep, 73cm high (72in wide, 36in deep, 28 1/2in high). Estimate: 8,000 £ - 10,000 £ (10,435 USD – 13,044 USD)—Lot 281: “A set of three Victorian silver entree dishes and covers” by Paul Storr, London 1838, two of the bases stamped 'Storr & Mortimer 114' . Shaped-oval form, the bases with reed and ribbon borders interspersed with leaf motifs, shaped high dome covers with engraved coats-of-arms on both sides, bases also crested on the inside, with leaf scroll removable handles, length of bases 33cm, weight 162oz. Comprising nineteen table forks, thirty-three tablespoons, ten dessert spoons, six teaspoons, five salt spoons, twenty-three ice cream scoops and an ice cream server, ten silver-bladed fish knives, and matching items by George Adams, circa 1880, weight 345oz. Estimate: 4,000 £ - 6,000 £ (5,217 USD – 7,826 USD)—Lot 282: “A Victorian parcel-gilt vase shaped wine ewer and pair of goblets on stand” by Stephen Smith, London 1866, signed Stephen Smith, 35 King Street, Covent Garden, London. The ewer richly chased quadriga at full gallop with stylised anthemion border and angular handle issuing from a ram's mask and terminating in a lion's mask, the goblets similarly decorated, the stand with engraved presentation inscription and crest of Molison, height ewer 42.5cm, diameter stand 42.5cm, weight 82oz. Estimate: 4,000 £ - 6,000 £ (5,217 USD – 7,826 USD)— Lot 365AR: Ales Vasicek (Czech, born 1947): “A blue art glass sculpture.” Engraved to the top edge 'Ales Vasickek 2004', 30 wide, 10cm deep, 100cm high (11 1/2in wide, 3 1/2in deep, 39in high). Estimate: 3,000 £ - 5,000 £ (3,913 USD - 6,522 USD)—Lot 176: “A part set of 'Rock Crystal' glass”, possibly by Thomas Webb & Sons, Stourbridge Circa 1890. The spiral moulded forms cut and engraved with bands of flowering foliage, comprising three decanters and stoppers, seven water jugs, two large wine jugs, eleven ice cream bowls and nine stands, sixteen glasses with ogee bowls, sixteen liqueur glasses and forty-five other various small wine glasses (112). Of Old English shell end pattern, engraved with the crest and motto of Mollison, comprising twenty-four table forks and table spoons, eighteen dessert forks, twenty-three dessert spoons and teaspoons, various serving items to include two gravy spoons, two soup ladles, twelve sauce ladles, etc, weight 385oz.
