In the Empire style, Of typical form, the candle arms issuing from Classical grotesque masks, adapted to electricity 100 cm drop x 67 cm wide. With five candle branches supported by Classical figures, on acanthus leaf and reeded cast bases, 26cm wide, 25cm deep, 61cm high (10in wide, 9 1/2in deep, 24in high) (2). With six foliate cast candle arms above flared reeded and acanthus leaf supports on lion paw footed tripartite supports and plinth bases; together a matching tazza, 30cm wide, 30cm deep, 77cm high (11 1/2in wide, 11 1/2in deep, 30in high) the tazza, 40cm high (3). Estimate: £ 4,000 - 6,000 ($5,169 – 7,754)- A French 19th century gilt bronze and cut glass twelve-light chandelier. Of tent and bag form, with strings of lustres and scrolled candle arms, the crown mounted with dancing figures and putti, later adapted to electricity, 90cm wide x 122cm drop. Estimate: £ 4,000 - 6,000 ($5,169 – 7,754)- A pair of German 18th century carved giltwood and gesso console tables. With serpentine marble tops (one replaced) above a lattice cut and scrolled acanthus leaf-carved frieze with central cartouche (one later monogrammed AM) on fish-scale cut cabriole legs and cloven hoof feet, 85cm wide x 51cm deep x 81cm high, (33in wide x 20in deep x 31 1/2in high) one console table 79cm high, (2). The scene depicting a Queen and her courtiers, possibly the Queen of Persia preparing to meet Alexander the Great; the central panel appears to be cut from a larger piece with the decorative border added later. 321cm wide x 314cm high.
