Hublot has an ongoing partnership with visual artist Richard Orlinski, and it recently announced three versions of the Fusion Tourbillon Orlinski Timepiece. Sculpture and the watch-making expertise are combined in the making of the watches that are offered by Hublot, created in collaboration with Richard Orlinski. The company’s ongoing partnership with the world-renowned visual artist has resulted in several popular timepieces being created since 2017. Each of the timepieces has a faceted appearance and often come with disruptive materials. The latest offerings are a result of the partnership between the contemporary sculptor and Hublot, and come in the form of three Classic Fusion Tourbillon Orlinski timepieces that are offered in Sapphire, King Gold, and Black Magic variants. Each of three timepieces will be produced in a limited run of 30 pieces. At the heart of each watch is a Hublot tourbillon movement, which has been redesigned. Each of the timepieces has a 45-mm diameter case, which is created from polished Sapphire crystal, or 18K King Gold, or micro-blasted black ceramic. The bezel has facets that mimic the sculptures such as T-Rex, Wild Kong created by Orlinski, and are adorned with H-shaped titanium screws. The dials of the timepieces feature either matte anthracite gray, matte gold, or matte black color. The Classic Fusion Tourbillon Orlinski Timepiece comes with a HUB6021 manufacture manual-winding movement with a power reserve of 115 hours. The open-work architecture showcases the skeleton tourbillon, and there is a power-reserve indicator on the dial. Sapphire glass coated with an anti-reflective treatment is present on the front, while the back case is created to match the material of the bezel and case. The straps paired with the timepieces come in rubber with sapphire or smooth-black finish.Click on the slideshow to check the timepiece.http://www.blouinartinfo.comFounder: Louise Blouin Read more
