When it comes to capturing the hearts and minds of modern-day watch aficionados, Zenith is taking no chances and has recently announced the release of two new watches. The watches, importantly, are part of the Pilot Collection and are ideal choices whether racing in the skies or on the asphalt. The new editions also carry on the company’s tradition of encouraging aviation pioneers, which has been a long-standing passion at Zenith, since it was formed in 1865. The precision and innovation that founder Georges Favre-Jacot brought to watches and kept Zenith among the leading luxury watch manufacturers in Switzerland, is showcased in the new offerings. The new Pilot models come with 45mm cases, which the company has described as “muscled-up.” The Pilot Type 20 Extra Special Blue has a combination of bold colors, features a bronze case encircling a matt blue dial, and is paired with a blue nubuck strap, while the case back has a Zenith flying instruments logo. The blue and black timepiece each have an Elite 679 automatic movement that has a power reserve of 50 hours. The Pilot Type 20 Ton Up Black features a stainless steel case that has an aged finish and complements the matt black dial.
