Will Mississippi Republican Sen. Cindy Hyde-Smith return a $2,700 campaign contribution from a white supremacist? Her campaign is not saying, and since Hyde-Smith recently “joked” about public hangings, in a state with a long history of lynchings, maybe that refusal to immediately disavow and return the money of a white supremacist is all we need to know. Peter Zieve is a Washington state businessman who’s been sued by his state government for refusing to hire Muslims, and offers his employees—most of whom are white—bonuses for marrying and procreating, because he thinks that white people breeding is important to the fate of the nation: In an October 2015 email, Zieve responded to an employee’s announcement that his wife had given birth to a baby by writing that “381,000 terrorist savages have gotten into Europe so far this year and if we don’t make more babies the light will (go) out on civilization.” [...] “When (our sons and daughters) choose to not repopulate and allow our wonderful country to be backfilled with rubbish from the desperate and criminal populations of the third world, I find that to be disgusting and I find those persons to make these decisions to be repulsive and I don’t like them around me,” Zieve wrote in an email that February. Hyde-Smith is in a November 27 run-off against Democrat Mike Espy. She’s not the only Republican Zieve donated to this year—he also gave to Florida’s Rick Scott, Tennessee’s Marsha Blackburn, Arizona’s Martha McSally, and others. Because the Republican Party is the party of white supremacists. The Mississippi Senate run-off is November 27. Make calls for Democrat Mike Espy! Don't want to make calls?
