The upcoming Brooklyn Point Tower in Downtown Brooklyn will feature an infinity pool at 680 feet, making it the “highest residential infinity pool in the Western Hemisphere.” Offering panaromic views of New York City, the 27-foot-long pool will feature an observatory for stargazing, a sun deck, an outdoor movie projection screen, outdoor dining area, alongwith changing rooms and showers. The landscape surrounding the saltwater pool is being designed by Nielsen Landscape Architects.The 720 feet tall Brooklyn Point, which is developed by Extell, will be the tallest building in Brooklyn for sometime, till other planned towers take the top spot. The residential building is being constructed as part of the new City Point mixed-use complex.The infinity pool, part of the project’s 40,000 square feet of shared indoor and outdoor amenity spaces, sits nearly 100 feet higher than the infinity pool at Marina Bay Sands Hotel in Singapore, noted ArchDaily.
