Modern Tapestries and Rugs are an integral part of Boccara Gallery by Didier Marien.The gallery houses an impressive array of modern and contemporary rugs, tapestries, and sculptures. The collection offers natural silk rugs, wool rugs, artistic rugs, and also French rugs, among others. The designs are a fine balance of modern and traditional, and this can be observed when looking at natural silk modern rugs. These works are a new concept that blends with modern interiors and also exploits the numerous possibilities that silk has to offer. The designs are subtle in nature, thereby, proving to be much more suitable for modern interiors. The natural silk contemporary rugs, on the other hand, are designed from contemporary drawings either by Marien himself or by other renowned artists. They are either unique or come in a limited series of eight.An antique dealer since 1987, Didier Marien is a member of European Chamber of Expert-Conseil in Works of Art (CECOA). In 1995, Marien bought Boccara Gallery and paved new directions by introducing modern tapestries and developing new contemporary silk rugs. In 2000, he created a new line of artistic rugs, and has expanded to locations such as New York, Moscow, London, and Paris.
