Galerie Kreo in Paris is presenting a group show titled “à table !” or at the table! that remains on view through July 30, 2017.The exhibition is displaying a selection of pieces of the emblematic designers of the gallery. “à table !” will bring together several pieces never before presented in Paris. The exhibition features works by artists Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby, François Bauchet, Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, and Alessandro Mendini. For their first collaboration with Galerie Kreo, English deisgners duo Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby are presenting the Hakone table inspired by the sobriety of Japanese carpentry. The table made of solid oak, recalls the curves of the architecture of the Japanese sanctuary of Hakone. The exhibition also displays a new creation of the Bouroullec brothers; this round table has three Y-shaped feet in brushed aluminum and black leather. The tray is made of black oak. François Bauchet’s table from the “Cellae” collection and Alessandro Mendini’s “Umbria” is also on view. The exhibition is at Galerie Kreo, 31, Rue Dauphine 75006 Paris.
