The sixth edition of FOG Design+Art is in full swing at the Fort Mason Center for Arts and Culture, San Francisco. The fair runs through January 20, 2019.This year’s edition brings together 53 design and visual art galleries from around the world including Berlin, Stockholm, London, Mexico City, Paris, Chicago, New York, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. The fair will see 12 new galleries participating for the first time this year: Sarah Myerscough Gallery, Modernity, neugerriemschneider, Andrew Kreps Gallery, Blain|Southern, Anton Kern Gallery, Fergus McCaffrey, Galerie Perrotin, Hauser & Wirth, Karma, Petzel, and Spruth Magers.Talking about the 2019 edition of the fair, Katie Paige, steering committee member of FOG 2019 stated, “The 2019 edition of the fair will reflect the tremendous growth that FOG has made over the past six years. We are excited to provide space for a larger roster of galleries this year, and to have such impressive international diversity in our program. Each selected gallery takes a thoughtful approach to curating its booth, reflecting a beautiful intersection of art and design, and the unique nature of Bay Area collectors and art enthusiasts.”The fair highlights the works of contemporary art and design by some of the most celebrated dealers of 20th century and contemporary work. Major design galleries participating in this year’s edition include: Cristina Grajales Gallery, Hostler Burrows, Magen H Gallery, Marian Goodman Gallery, Modernity, Patrick Parrish Gallery, R & Company, and Sarah Myerscough Gallery, amongst others.FOG Design + Art will also honor Pamela J. Joyner at the 2019 Innovators Luncheon, presented by FENDI. According to the fair’s press release, “Joyner is a passionate visionary and champion in her mission to reframe art history to include artists of African descent that have been previously overlooked. Joyner and her husband Fred J.
