Each overall: 193cmx34.5cm (76inx13½in); image: 115cmx20cm (45¼inx7 7/8in) (13). Estimated Price: $65,400 - $78,500- «A fine wood netsuke of a snail» - By Naito Toyomasa (1773-1856), Tanba Province, Edo period (1615-1868), early-mid 19th century. Emerging from its shell and bending back over the top, its optic feelers fully extended and the fleshy part of the body trailing beneath. Measured at 4.2cm (1 5/8in) wide. Estimated Price: $52,300 - 78,500- «A gold-lacquer three-case inro» - By Shibata Zeshin (1807–1891), Meiji era (1868–1912), circa 1870–1890. An inro with three interlocking cases and cover, of lenticular cross-section with straight sides, rounded corners, curved top and base. Measured at 7.5cmx4.9cmx1.7cm (3inx1 7/8inx5/8in). (3). Estimated Price: $52,300 - 65,400- «A large and unusual silver, shibuich and gilt okimono of a Dragon ascending Mount Fuji» - Meiji era (1868-1912), late 19th century, circa 1890s. Finely chiselled and wrought with details in shibuichi, silver, shakudo and gilt, unsigned. Mount Fuji: 38.5cmx53cm (15 1/8inx20 7/8in); the wood stand: 34.5cmx58.5cmx31cm (13½inx23inx12 1/8in). (2). Estimated Price: $39,300 - $65,400- «A matching gold-lacquer suzuribako (box for writing utensils) and bunko (document box) together with an unrelated gold-lacquer bundai (writing desk)» - Meiji era (1868-1912), late 19th/early 20th century. The suzuribako: 5cmx24.2cmx22cm (2inx9½inx8 5/8in); the bunko: 15cmx41.2cmx33.5cm (5 7/8inx16¼inx13 3/16in); the bundai: 12.5cmx57.5cmx33.6cm (4 7/8inx22 5/8inx13¼in). (13). Estimated Price: $23,550 - $26,150- «A gilt-bronze okimono of Benkei holding aloft a Koro (incense burner) and cover» - By Miyao Eisuke of Yokohama, Meiji era (1868-1912), late 19th/early 20th century. Constructed in two detachable sections. The figure: 31cm (12 3/16in) high; the koro: 37cm (14½in) high. (3). Estimated Price: $19,600 - $26,150- «A Magnificent and unusually large Satsuma bowl» - By Okamoto Ryozan, Meiji era (1868-1912), late 19th/early 20th century.
