This June, the Design Museum, Helsinki, launches an exhibition of new works by young and already well-known light designer Daniel Rybakken. The exhibition is titled “Daniel Rybakken – Daylight and Objects” and is on view from June 8 through August 26. It focuses on the artist’s total processes of light fitting design, and how creatively he maneuvers the relationship between light and space. Rybakken, born in 1984 in Oslo, has won numerous awards in his career. Most recently, he was awarded the Torsten and Wanja Soderberg prize for 2017.
