15 hawker centres to close for cleaning fourth week of September
A total of 15 hawker centres across Singapore will close for one to three days from Sept 21 to Sept 27 for cleaning.According to the National Environmental Agency, such cleaning is conducted regularly so that Singaporeans can enjoy affordable food in a clean and hygienic environment.The hawker centres undergoing cleaning include Tekka Centre, Holland Village Market and Food Centre, and Jurong West Hawker Centre, among others.
