Sydykov explains why Kyrgyzstan is strengthening sanctions controls
Kyrgyzstan is strengthening sanctions controls primarily to protect its own banks, investors and businesses, rather than simply to comply with the requirements of foreign countries. Minister of Economy and Commerce and the President’s Special Representative for Sanctions Policy, Bakyt Sydykov, said in an interview with The Times of Central Asia published on September 15.
