New presidential election date fixed in Zhogorku Kenesh rules
The date for the next presidential election in Kyrgyzstan has been changed in the Zhogorku Kenesh’s rules of procedure. The document now specifies the fourth Wednesday of January instead of the third Sunday of October. Head of State Sadyr Japarov signed the amendments.
