When Belden Sakiromo entered the University of Papua New Guinea (UPNG) to study Science Foundation, he envisioned a future wearing a doctor’s white coat. But when fate redirected his path towards Mathematics Statistic and Computer Science, the final-year student discovered a different way to heal society by solving everyday systemic challenges through technology. Hailing from a mixed heritage of East Sepik and Oro provinces, Belden’s educational journey began at Taurama Primary School, followed by KilaKila Secondary School, and eventually St. Joseph’s International Catholic College for Grades 11 and 12.
