Reserve battalion secures Selichot prayer event in Lebanon without authorization
A reserve battalion from the 4th Brigade, deployed in the Ramim Ridge area, secured a Selichot prayer event at the tomb of Rav Ashi near the Tziporen outpost, on the Lebanese side of the border in an area under IDF control. According to Galei Tzahal, the event was not approved by the relevant IDF authorities, did not follow the standard chain of authorization and violated military directives. The IDF stated that “the incident will be investigated and the procedures will be clarified."
