St Richard's Primary School on Red Hills Road in St Andrew has asked parents to collect their children ahead of normal dismissal time following a fiery roadblock mounted by angry residents protesting a fatal police shooting this morning. The fire has since been extinguished. The incident happened along Karl Samuda Avenue this morning. In a notice to parents, the school noted that the situation has not negatively affected the school and that normal activities continued on the school compound. A strong police presence is now in the area.
