‘Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks’ – GBA President on CJ’s SOEs comments
President of the Ghana Bar Association (GBA), Efua Ghartey, has invoked a biblical admonition in expressing the Bar’s disappointment with remarks attributed to Chief Justice Paul Baffoe-Bonnie concerning state-owned enterprises. Mrs Ghartey said although the Bar was reluctant to interpret the Chief Justice’s comments as reflecting any underlying sentiment, the remarks had nonetheless raised concerns among members of the legal profession.
