Saudi, Indian foreign ministers review diverse growth and development of bilateral ties
NEW DELHI — Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan held extensive talks with Minister of External Affairs of India Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar on the sidelines of the BRICS Summit 2026 in New Delhi, the capital of India, on Sunday. During the meeting, the ministers reviewed Saudi-Indian relations and their growth and development across various fields, as well as the opportunities available to enhance them in a way that serves the common interests of the two countries and their friendly peoples. Prince Faisal and Jaishankar also discussed the latest regional and international developments and exchanged views on a number of issues of mutual interest. They emphasized the importance of continuing consultations and coordination to support efforts aimed at consolidating security and stability and finding political and diplomatic solutions to current challenges and crises. Saudi Ambassador to India Haitham Al-Maliki and Director General of the Department for Asian Countries Ambassador Nasser Al-Ghanoum also attended the meeting.
