Mahama promises completion of Wa-Bolgatanga road by end of 2027
President John Mahama has assured residents of the Upper West Region that the Wa-Bolgatanga road will be completed before the end of 2027. The President gave the assurance after inspecting ongoing works on the road as part of his two-day Resetting Ghana tour of the Upper West Region. He said the road was among the key routes prioritised under the government's Big Push Programme because it connects two regional capitals.
