Driver, 22, arrested for driving under drug influence after car flips over in Kovan
A male car driver had to be rescued from his car wreckage after an accident involving his vehicle and another car in Kovan on Thursday (Sept 10) night.He was later seen being arrested at the scene by police officers and led onto a police van.The incident happened at about 11.50pm at the junction of Upper Serangoon Road and Hougang Street 21.When AsiaOne arrived at the scene at about 12.20am on Friday, the man had just been rescued by Singapore Civil Defence Force firefighters using rescue equipment.A traffic light with a "No U-turn" signage mounted on it laid fallen across two lanes, with a visible dent at the lower-third area of the pole.
