This action follows a BBC Eye report and a formal inquiry into Meta's systems. The commission will examine Meta India's role in the advertisements' appearance. The inquiry considers stringent provisions under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act. Meta stated it has zero tolerance for child exploitation and removed many suspicious accounts.
