PHV collides with car, mounts kerb and narrowly misses other vehicles on Chai Chee Street
A private hire vehicle (PHV) allegedly collided with a car then mounted a kerb, before swerving past other vehicles and almost hitting them, according to a video posted to the SG Road Vigilante Facebook page on Sunday (Sep 6).The incident happened at the junction of Bedok North Road and Chai Chee Street, and the video has since garnered more than 100,000 views and over 400 likes as at Monday evening.In the video, a black Hyundai, which is registered under the chauffeured private hire scheme, can be seen failing to make a right turn.It had allegedly struck a vehicle before the video began, then drove forward and and hit a kerb.The vehicle then takes a sharp right turn just as a motorcyclist drives past it and the two nearly collide.Thankfully, the motorcyclist managed to evade the car in time.Crossing into oncoming traffic, the black Hyundai then nearly hits the car that recorded the incident on its dashcam before swerving to the left and back into its lane.
