New BAPS Hindu mandir opens near Paris after five decades of planning
The BAPS Swaminarayan Hindu Mandir in Bussy-Saint-Georges, east of Paris, was inaugurated on Sunday, 6 September 2026, during a 13-day Festival of Culture celebrating the first traditionally designed Hindu temple in France.
