<p>In order to minimize marriage fraud Ghana  has launched Marrify, a digital platform that lets people check a prospective partner’s marital status before marriage. Launched with Ghana&#8217;s Ministry of Gender and Social Protection, the platform also verifies marriage venues, pastors and licensed Imams. It uses records from courts, assemblies and the Ghana Gazette.
