'My behind just got swiped': Woman allegedly molested at Singapore Night Festival, says she's been targeted before
A woman has spoken about allegedly being molested while out at the Singapore Night Festival, saying it was not the first time she had experienced unwanted touching in public.In a TikTok video posted on Sunday (Sept 6) by user har_niy, the woman recounted an incident during the festival, saying she had been standing with her friends while waiting for a traffic light."My behind just got swiped," she said.She added that there was "plenty of space" behind her for people to walk past.When she turned around, she said she saw an uncle walking away from her, she claimed. The woman said the incident was not isolated, adding that similar incidents had happened to her "multiple times".The festival, held in the Bras Basah.Bugis precinct, ran across three weekends from Aug 21 to Sept 5.'Not a one-time thing'She recalled another incident that occurred when she had gone out on National Day with her family and relatives, adding that her friends had witnessed such incidents on multiple occasions.
