RSAF activates Rescue 10 search-and-rescue helicopter to airlift unwell person from ship to SGH
The Republic of Singapore Air Force's (RSAF)'s search-and-rescue unit Rescue 10 was activated on Friday (Sept 4) to help evacuate a person from a ship at sea to Singapore General Hospital (SGH).In a Facebook post after the medical evacuation was completed, RSAF said the H225M helicopter helped transfer the patient, who required urged medical attention, in a stable condition."We wish the patient a smooth and speedy recovery, and salute our Rescue 10 crew and SGH personnel for always being ready to respond when called upon," according to the post.
