F1 Singapore Grand Prix 2026: Marina Centre, Padang roads to close from Oct 7-13

The Singapore Grand Prix will take place from Oct 9 to 11, with roads in the Marina Centre and Padang areas to close over a seven-day period around the race dates.Road closures will take place from Oct 9 to 11, said the Land Transport Authority (LTA) on Friday (Sept 4).The road closures will be required to facilitate the set-up and removal of race infrastructure, LTA explained in a news release.The race organiser has put in place measures to minimise traffic disruptions, the authority added.It also encouraged members of the public and Formula 1 (F1) ticket holders to take public transport during the period of closure.Road closures in Marina Centre, Padang areasThe roads closed for the races include: Collyer Quay, St. Andrew's Road, Stamford Road, Nicholl Highway, Esplanade Drive, Republic Boulevard, Raffles Avenue and Bayfront Avenue. They will close from 12.01am on Oct 7 and will be fully accessible by 5.30am on Oct 13, said LTA.Roads will be progressively reopened in phases to restore traffic as soon as possible, after the race is over, it added.
