Bishkek and Osh prepare for heat, heavy rain and flooding
Bishkek and Osh have been included in Kyrgyzstan’s National Adaptation Plan through 2035 as cities with increased climate vulnerability. A separate set of measures has been proposed for the two cities due to their high population density, pressure on utility networks and the risk of extreme heat and heavy precipitation.
