City police deputy head appointed chairperson of gambling board
Deputy head of the Windhoek City Police, Eliaser Iiyambo, has been appointed chairperson of the Gambling Board of Namibia. Iiyambo, a career police officer, is deputised by Anastasia Siteketa. He takes over from retired Namibian Police commissioner Ben Shikongo, whose term recently came to an end. The other board members are Tudiminapo Shindume, Rachel Mundilo, Penehafo Shindume and Elsie Hindjou. The Ministry of Environment, Forestry and Tourism announced the appointments on its social media page on Friday.
