R150,8 million in social grants paid to recognised refugees during 2025/26, SASSA reveals
More than R105 million in Child Support Grants was paid to recognised refugees living in South Africa during the 2025/26 financial year, forming the largest portion of the R150.8 million allocated to refugees through social assistance, according to SASSA.
