DBS named world's best digital bank by Global Finance, first Asia-based winner
DBS, Southeast Asia's and Singapore's biggest lender by assets, has been named World's Best Digital Bank by Global Finance in its 2026 ranking.The Singapore bank is also the first Asia-headquartered bank to receive the publication's top digital banking accolade in its 27-year history.Among other global accolades, DBS also retained its title as the World's Best Corporate/Institutional Digital Bank for the third consecutive year. The bank was also awarded the World’s Best Bank for AI in Finance — Corporate for the second consecutive year, and secured the global win for Best AI in Fraud Detection/ Prevention — Corporate/ Institutional Artificial Intelligence (AI) Bank."The recognition underscores DBS’ continued leadership in digital banking and its focus on harnessing technology and innovation to deliver seamless and meaningful experiences for its customers," the bank said in a statement on Friday (Oct 30).
