BlindSA takes government to court over delayed Marrakesh Treaty accession
BlindSA has approached the Gauteng High Court over South Africa’s delayed accession to the Marrakesh Treaty, which facilitates the cross-border exchange of books in accessible formats. The Department of Women, Youth and Persons with Disabilities says urgent action is needed to remove barriers facing blind and visually impaired students.
