Hendel: I won't be Netanyahu's 61st vote, but I will join a unity government
Two days before the polls open, Yoaz Hendel, chairman of the Reservists-Economic Party, addressed his party's standing in the polls and made clear that he would not provide Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu with the 61st Knesset seat needed to form a government. However, he said he would be willing to join a unity government that includes Netanyahu, Naftali Bennett, and Gadi Eisenkot. "We are the only way to establish a Zionist government without Haredi or Arab parties," Hendel declared, arguing that voting for any other option would lead to another round of elections.
