Man, 36, taken to hospital after accident on Punggol Road
A 36-year-old male pedestrian was taken to hospital after an accident involving a car along Punggol Road on Thursday (Oct 22) morning.A video of the aftermath of the accident shared on social media shows at least three emergency responders wearing yellow vests attending to a person lying on the pedestrian walkway. A silver car can also be seen parked beside the scene.Responding to queries from AsiaOne, the police and Singapore Civil Defence Force said they were alerted to an accident involving a car and a pedestrian along Punggol Road towards Hougang Avenue 10 at about 7.15am. A 36-year-old male pedestrian was taken conscious to Changi General Hospital. A 67-year-old male driver is assisting with ongoing police investigations.
